Hannah & Mikey | Funky Balmain wedding
Everything about Hannah & Mikey is non-traditional. They had originally planned to elope, but instead decided to have a party style wedding with friends and family before heading off on their originally planned elopement holiday. Their idea or a relaxed and fun wedding celebration was just up my alley. They decided to have a first look before the wedding and we had fun exploring the backstreets of beautiful Balmain which left more time to head straight to the party afterwards.
When asked who would sign their marriage registry, they couldn’t decide and so came up with the idea of drawing a name out of the hat to decide the two family or friends who would sign for them, Mikey folded 100 numbered heart shaped origamis to draw out on the day.

Coen | Family Session
This family was such fun to photograph. From adorable matching family beanies to bubbles, balloons and baths in the kitchen sink, it was so much fun to capture some precious family time, even their dog was on her best behaviour for the photo shoot! Please enjoy these adorable photos of super sweet Coen and his family.
Josie & Franjo | Maternity session
My beautiful friends are having a baby! It was such an honour to capture these precious moments as they wait for their new arrival. These images were taken at Glenmore Park Loch and even their puppy dog wanted in on the session! Also check out the images I captured to celebrate their engagement…they have such a beautiful love story!
Jess & Ben | Married
Jess and Ben kept telling their friends they were having an ‘elopement with family’. They wanted the day to be simple and elegant and incorporate all the things they love, including cake, coffee and family.
As Jess is currently training for a marathon, a normal weekend would include going for a run out to Brownlow Hill Loop Road and back into Camden for coffee and their wedding day was no exception… other than the lack of running. I think the day was exactly as they had envisaged it and was a beautiful celebration of love. The photos definitely make it look like something out of a page of a Jane Austen novel.

Ruby | Newborn lifestyle session
My beautiful friends have welcomed a beautiful little girl into the world recently and we spent an afternoon capturing some precious memories of this exciting time. They make a very photogenic family I think!
Hudson | Cake Smash
Thought I better post this as this cutie has just had a new baby brother! This is the first cake smash I have photographed and it was for a very special little man, who just happens to be my cousins son. He was hesitant at first, but soon got into the swing of devouring his cake…clearly he takes after the rest of his family members and knows when he’s onto a good thing.
Family Fun in Parramatta Park
The Wisteria Garden in Parramatta Park didn’t have any wisteria, however it was beautifully colourful from all the jacaranda trees in bloom for this cute session with a couple of big kids, a little kid and dogs…and they say never to work with children or animals, pfft!!
Misty Valley Farm | Farm Stays
Misty Valley Farm is a quaint farm in the Hunter Valley. The farm produces organic blueberries in summer, where you can pick your own delicious punnets of plump blueberries. I had the pleasure of photographing ‘The Nest’, which is a beautifully styled cottage perfect for a cosy weekend away in the Hunter Valley.
If you’re after a weekend retreat in the Hunter Valley, look no further… this place is perfect!
For more information about either Hunter Valley accommodation at ‘The Nest’ or blueberry picking visit the Misty Valley Farm website.
Amos | Newborn
Amos’s beautiful mum is a very talented photographer (check out her work here) and also a very dear friend. She was kind enough to share some newborn tips with me and provide her gorgeous children as models. I love the pic of Lucy taking a photo of her mum & new brother…a budding photographer!
Newborn Photography
I am very blessed to have gorgeous friends who have such photogenic babies. Here’s some images I took of a very special little girl recently…and got to steal lots of cuddles in between shooting. I have to give credit to her Mummy who took a few of these photos whilst I was enjoying a cuddle.
